The Booster Club works to raise funds for the Lago Vista Middle School and High School Athletic Programs. Booster Club Board Members and volunteers run concessions at athletic events, sell Lago Vista Viking merchandise, yard signs and banners, and secure memberships and sponsorships, all in an effort to support the athletic programs in our schools. The Booster Club receives requests from coaches for equipment and team needs. The Club also uses funds to award scholarships to eligible senior student-athletes to assist with public/private colleges and universities or trade/technical school tuition, which are paid directly to the school attended.

The Booster Club is supportive of all Lago Vista ISD activities, but can only provide financial assistance to Middle School and High School UIL recognized sports.

Parents or guardians of a senior student-athlete must have been members of the LV Vikings Booster Club for all four years of high school (or all years that the athlete attended Lago Vista High School) AND volunteered for at least two events per sport each year. Student-athletes must have participated or are currently participating at the Varsity level as well (not applicable to student athletic trainers or managers).

Memberships can be purchased at any time of the year, but we encourage members to sign up as soon as memberships become available in early August so the members get to enjoy the benefits for the entire year.

There are no levels of Booster Club membership that include free entry to athletic events. Booster Club funds are separate from Lago Vista ISD funds, and the ISD handles all entry fees. Memberships do, however, provide many other benefits.

Lago Vista ISD requires that anyone watching an athletic event pay the entry fee. If you are volunteering but also watching the game, you are required to pay the entry fee. If you are volunteering and will not be watching the event, you must notify us prior to the game so your name can be placed on a pass list for free entrance into the event.

The number of Booster Club Board members varies from year to year and terms run from August 1 - July 31 in conjunction with our fiscal year. The Booster Club accepts cash and utilizes Square which works with any US-issued and most internationally-issued magstripe or chip cards bearing a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, or UnionPay International logo.
